What you’ll achieve

Dell EMC PowerProtect Data Manager is strategic product under Data Management Group, provides software defined data protection, automated discovery, deduplication, operational agility, self-service and IT governance for physical, virtual and cloud environments.

PowerProtect Data Manager Team in China takes CORE ownership to lead modernized scenarios like multiple cloud, CORE orchestration and so on. We are looking for smart engineer to join us on addressing asks from enterprise cutomers in the world together.

As a Data Protection Software Engineer,

You will:

·         Building CORE capability for PPDM through cutting edge technology in virtualization & cloud

·         Contribute/Lead to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered modernized software

·         Own full cycle of feature development: design, implement, automation test, test in an agile team environment

Essential Requirements

·         Strong programming experience on Java, and good at Linux Shell script and Python

·         Good experience on one of microservice framework:, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes or other distributed system

·         Fast learner, great team player in global team environment

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese

Desirable Requirements

·         Good Experience on at least one of public cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP or other mainstream public clouds

·         Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or Software Engineering

·         1+ years relevant experience
