Storage Validation Intern

In this position, you will join Intel Network Platforms Group Storage Team at Shanghai ZiZhu as a validation intern. You will work on Storage Performance Development Kit (SPDK; https://spdk.io) validation, storage solution built-up, performance optimization and so on. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain different Intel hardware and software technologies, deep debugging, validating and performance tuning skills, knowledge of cutting-edge storage solutions.

Basic requirements:

- Computer science or equivalent background students.

- Good understanding of Linux/FreeBSD like system and Internals.

- Good understanding of C/C++/Python/Bash programming skills.

- Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) and the ability to work as part of a multisite team.

- Able to come to office at least 3 days per week for the minimum of half year (long time is preferred).

Added Advantage:

- Overall understanding of Intel architecture-based servers

- Overall understanding of storage systems like distributed storage, hyper-converged-infrastructure, iSCSI, Qemu, NVMe

- Performance tuning and workload optimization
