Field Observer

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• Ensure that the field quality of current production and subsequent models are under monitoring.
• Ensure that field data is professionally analyzed.
• Ensure that field problems are thoroughly analyzed, effectively solved and continuously tracked.

Key tasks:

•  Responsible for the processes located in his field of expertise
•  Coordinate the analysis of field data
• Monitor actual status of field targets for vehicle models produced in plant. And monitor field quality for own vehicle models and, if applicable, vehicle models produced by subsequent plants
• Participate in field Launch Team
• Provide field information on the FAP process in a bundled form. And document field problems in the KPM after they have been transferred to FAP tracking
• Control the effectiveness of applied measures
• Support in technical and financial Q-assessment on model maintenance, AWEs, and change requests in terms of G&K cost savings
• Sift defective part data
• Summarize data according to regularity needs (weekly and monthly reports)
• Report and escalate field topic in escalation meeting
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor Degree in engineering.
• Preferably in mechanical or vehicle
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Knowledge of vehicle
• Problem solving Method: 8D and etc.
• Office automation and IT knowledge: Excel, Word, PPT; Preferable Power-bi, VBA
• Communication and presentation skills
• High degree of responsibility
