Brief description of the position：

• Productive purchasing department takes responsibility for sourcing and management of raw materials and goods for vehicle production. The position holder is expected to source the required components for various car projects and ensure the best material cost and timely delivery during mass production. Accomplish sourcing projects/activities according to time schedule and reach defined commercial targets.

Key Tasks:

• Source and nominate qualified supplier for responsible components, incl. support in RfQ preparation, collect quotation, define supplier strategy, negotiate with suppliers, create/present decision proposal in decision committee
• Prepare, implement and update contractual documents
• Coordinate and solve supplier’s delivery/goods quality/capacity problem to ensure series production
• Spare parts price negotiation and support the ordering process for production components and accessories
• Implement purchasing role in change management after  Nomination
• Define and implement sourcing & supplier strategy of responsible material group / parts
• Conduct cost analysis, global sourcing and benchmark for continues cost optimization
• Scouting, develop and qualify suppliers to build up and improve supplier system, conduct continues supplier (relationship) management
• Participate in new supplier audit and evaluation
• Responsible for the capacity management from SOP to EOP. Support the capacity management before SOP.
• Responsible for the production readiness work for non-heavy item. Support the production readiness work for heavy item.



Qualification and Skills:

• Basic knowledge of automobile components and applications   
• Proficient MS Office skills and presentation skills
• Good negotiation, organization and interpersonal communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good logical thinking and executive force
• Responsibility and reliability
• Tolerant and flexible to stressed situations
• Willing to travel
• Bachelor’s degree or above (major in automotive engineering, business / project management, economics preferred)
• Working experience in OEMs is preferred
• Purchasing or R&D working experience for Lighting system is preferred
• Having good command of English both in speaking and writing
• German/Spanish is preferred
