(PMI）Efficiency Engineer

Brief Introduction of the position

• Developing efficiency index management standards and methods, including target setting, rule establishment, VBZ/HPU calculation, attendance control, data analysis and headcount management. Evaluating and designing comprehensive efficiency management systems. Optimizing process and improving efficiency in Volkswagen Anhui, taking the social, economic and environmental framework into account.

Key Tasks

• Responsible for efficiency management for series production. Developing efficiency index management process standards documents. Guiding relevant departments to control efficiency indicators according to standard processes.
• Setting VBZ and HPU goals for every department after SOP. Establishing rules for assessment and calculation of VBZ. Responsible for continual optimization of process, reduce manufacture cost and VBZ for lean production.
• Evaluating and designing comprehensive efficiency management systems. Assisting the digital transformation process of the organization, and faster response to data results through digital analysis platforms.
• Establishing and continuously improving rules for eliminating and adjusting of VBZ/HPU attendance hours. Standardize the consistency and accuracy of data.
• Calculating VBZ/HPU actual and performance data for each department. Assisting relevant departments to formulate attendance control plans and following up on implementation. Pay attention to production and JPH changes , and prepare corresponding measures and catch up plans.
• Developing position plans for each department, tracking position changes and following up on the optimization of relevant department.
• Developing and improving headcount management process standards documents. Paying attention to the matching of headcount and positions.
• Developing VBZ targets for new vehicle models, benchmarking VBZ data for vehicles of the same level, and providing target support for the development of 3P WS.
• Establishing a knowledge base related to efficiency indicators, organizing training and sharing. Establishing a efficiency work team with relevant departments and organize efficiency index sharing meetings. Maintaining information synchronization with relevant departments.
• Making VBZ/HPU reports and optimizing the dashboard, improving the granularity of management dimensions and identifying risks in advance. Tracking historical data and analyzing VBZ/HPU data differences.

Qualification and skills

• Bachelor's degree or above in IE or ME.
• Proficient in IE & efficiency technique and operation process incl. KPS, VBZ, HPU,HC, Labor cost management.
• Skilled in efficiency management system.
• · Familiar with the knowledge of process system.
• · Strong skills in project management & project leadership.
• · Convincing, persuasiveness and goal oriented.
• · Fluent English in writing and speaking.
• · Strong critical thinking, prioritization and analytical skills while providing insights to drive.
