Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• Semi-conductor or power module design for high voltage ECUs in E-Powertrains
• Ensuring the development of China tailored components or China specific projects
• Technical interface in contact with project partners in both Germany and China

Key tasks:

• Automotive SiC power module development according to development processes
• Coordination and definition of technical requirements in SiC semiconductor in different development steps
• Support for wafer, die and power module test requirement, analysis and evaluation.
• Support other engineers to define equipment plan, packaging process, material selection, structure design, test and cost evaluation
• Creation of hardware architectures and specification of SiC power module components
• Proving the fulfillment of requirements as well as hardware test according to requirements

Qualification and skills:

1. Must-have (e.g.)

• Min. master degree in the field of material, electronic, physic or comparable qualification
• Fluent in English
• Very good knowledge background of semiconductor physics. Familiar with MOSFET, IGBT semiconductor development process
• High degree of communication skills, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
• Willing and able to work in a challenging intercultural environment
• Independent, structured and analytical way of working
