ADAS System Engineer

Brief description of the position/Range of responsibility：

• Scope of this position is to do hardware developer of market specific ADAS / AD hardware (sensor and computation device) .
• The contribution of this position will be essential to deliver a robust solution at vehicle launch.

Key tasks:

• Investigate and analyze the specific requirements for market China
• Adapt transfer the global ADAS / HAD system solution according to the requirements
• Propose, align and finalize the implementation with function and component experts
• Plan, manage and document the milestones and progresses of local development and calibration.
• Align the project hardware test and validation strategy with the partner´s testing activities. Standardize methods and actively pursue continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with the suppliers and partners in terms of development, vehicle integration and release
• Coordination of ADAS / HAD relevant tasks between VW Anhui and VW Wolfsburg
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor due to work requests
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor or Master degree in automotive / electrical / computational engineering or similar
• Knowledge in OEM development process and overall vehicle architecture
• Experience in project management (time management / planning / monitoring)
• High process and quality affinity
• Highly structured, analytical and self-organized, -motivated
• Excellent capabilities in communication and team work
• Strong ability in problem solving, availability of multiple tasks
• Experience of studying / working abroad as a plus
