Job description:
1.Take part in the optimization of video codec, including improving the encoding efficiency and speed up the codec;
2.Cooperate with colleagues to apply the optimized video codec in SDKs or online products, and continue optimizing the video codec according to the feedback from products;
3.Keep up with the new video encoding standard and new codec strategies, and help implement and use them in our products when necessary.
Job requirement:
1. Skilled in C/C++ languages, and good at analyzing / solving problems. The major is not limited.
2. Familiar with at least one video encoding standard (like H.264, H.265, VA1, H.266 and etc.).
3. Understanding video transcoding and having experience in using some open source video tools (like X264, X265, ffmpeg and etc.) is preferred.
4. Having experience in software performance optimization is preferred, like assembly optimization, threading optimization, and framework optimization.
5. Having Android/IOS developing experience is preferred.
6. Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.
